The Next Generation
Graduates of D'Icon School are building their own legacies across performance, directing, filmmaking, and institution building.
Efun
Akinfolarin Olamide (Efun) is a brilliant screenwriter, actress, and filmmaker who stands out as one of the most accomplished alumni of the D Icon School of Performing Arts under the mentorship of Ibrahim Yekini (Itele D Icon). Her exceptional multi-dimensional training at the academy culminated in her mainstream breakthrough in the blockbuster mythological epic Koleoso, where she not only delivered a critically acclaimed performance as the fierce, strong-willed character Efun but also served as the mastermind screenwriter behind the entire project. Today, she embodies the excellence of her alma mater by producing her own independent films like Ofin, serving as a powerful inspiration for the next generation of Nollywood storytellers.
Kemity
Kemity is Itele D'Icon's first and most celebrated student. She served as his apprentice for 8-10 years, supporting him through his toughest times. She is now a successful Yoruba Nollywood actress in her own right and has founded her own institution - Kemity School of Performing Film Arts - continuing the legacy of D'Icon School into the next generation. In 2025 she starred in the record-breaking Koleoso series.
